SAP Note 107482 - Variances, WIP: Too many messages

Component : Cost Object Controlling -

Solution : https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/107482 (SAP Service marketplace login required)

Summary :
The SAP Note addresses performance issues and complexity in the message log during variance and WIP calculation processes, referencing transactions such as KKS1, KKS2, and KKAX. This issue stems from uncontrolled error messages which are not aligned with user-defined error management. To resolve this, users should utilize transactions OPR4, OPR4_KKS, OPR4_KKS1, and OPR8 or modify the TCMF9 table to adjust message types (' ' or '*'). Specific message types (e.g., KV151, KV173) are also directed toward user-defined error management with specific IDs (e.g., KKP, KKS, KKA) for different processes.
