Summary :
Purchase requisitions for subcontracting in SAP with item category 'Subcontracting' generated from sales orders or networks don't automatically perform BOM explosion, which leads to missing components. The issue extends to manual BOM updates which do not synchronize when sales orders or network components are altered or deleted. Technical limitations of the ME_REQUISITION_EXT module, responsible for generating these requisitions, restrict BOM component management and update functionalities. Currently, no complete solution is provided; however, corrections in the RM06C011 report help manage dependent requirements after deletions. Extended functionalities post-SAP ERP 6.05 cater to these needs through enhanced package solutions.
