Summary :
The SAP printer driver for Windows (SAPLPD.EXE) reports an error: "SAPFAX.DLL not present." The problem occurs because SAPFAX.DLL was not included in the delivery package. If SAPLPD is only used for printing, the absence of SAPFAX.DLL can be ignored as it is unnecessary, similar to the BARCODE-DLL. However, for transmitting print output via a fax system like SYMANTEC WinFax PRO on Windows, SAPFAX.DLL is required. The latest version can be downloaded from SAP via ftp from the sapserv* servers at /general/R3server/patches/rel46D/NT/I386 in the "sapfax_1.CAR" file. Note that SAPFAX.DLL is unsupported from SAP Technology Release 5.0 onwards. See Notes 9119, 134179, and 306509 for further details.
