SAP Message WXPB220 - Amount of memory space used is too large (see long text)

Diagnosis
During manual planning you can navigate between the overview and periodscreens and also to the screen between different characteristic levels. As long as you do not leave the overview or period screen, the lockeddata or total cells will be temporarily held in a program buffer (notin the database) every time you change screens. This ensures that thecells remain locked if you return to a screen with a certaincharacteristics combination, for which cells were already locked. Forperformance reasons, the buffer is initialized after the 100th screenchange. This will happen the next time you change screens.

System Response
The buffer will be extended with this screen change. If, the next timeyou change screens, you navigate to a period or overview screen with acertain combination of characteristics, in which you have already been, the "memory" for the locked cells will remain intact.
If you change to a screen that you have not already displayed, thememory will have to be initialized. Cells that were previously lockedwill then no longer be locked.

Procedure
Check whether your planning layouts can be reorganized so that asmaller branch of the planning hierarchy is planned and the number ofnavigations between different combinations of characteristics on theoverview screen is reduced for each layout.
