Diagnosis
You want to include a new or existing material in planning. In thiscase the system automatically extends the planning hierarchyaccordingly in the background. In order to be able to plan the materialin the current planning step, the planning hierarchy must be completedat least up to the deepest planning characteristic of the planning step(here: &V2&) because the planning data is saved on this level.
Planning level &V1&, which corresponds to a classification systemcharacteristic, is contained in the current planning step. Withoutspecifying a value for this planning level, the hierarchy cannot becompletely extended from the planning step view without specifying aclassification system characteristic value. It is not possible to plandata for the material concerned.

System Response
The material cannot be copied without at least one of the values beingspecified for the classification system characteristic.

Procedure
Choose at least one value for the classification system characteristicfor the material specified. If you cannot specify a value at thispoint, create an assigned place holder in the classification system("dummy value") and assign this.
