Diagnosis
You want to delete planning step &V1&. However, the planning hierarchy(hierarchy version &V3&) still contains proportional factors for plancharacteristic &V2&.

Delete the entries in the planning hierarchy for hierarchy version &V3&for characteristic level &V2&. You can go to planning hierarchymaintenance via the basic settings for planning step &V1&.
