SAP Message WRF_APC145 - Variant &1 cannot be a component of prepack material &2

Diagnosis
Variant &V1& cannot be a prepack component. Possible reasons are:

  • The variant &V1& has an empties bill of material

  • The material type of the variant does not support bill of materials
    • items

    System Response
    The prepack material cannot be released.

    Procedure
    Remove the component from the prepack material.
