Diagnosis
You want to split up the total quantity of a generic material among thevariants. In allocation tables, this is only possible if aquota scale is found forall variant-creating characteristics. This message can appear in twosituations:

• You have not created a quota scale for the
value scale

• The system found more than one quota scale that is suitable and
displayed a dialog box for you to select a quota scale. You then choose"Cancel".

System Response
No allocation can be suggested.

Procedure
If you want to use this function, create value and quota scales for thevariant-creating characteristics. Alternatively, choose one of thequota scales from the dialog box.
