Diagnosis
The initial status specified is not compatible with the requested startspecified.

System Response
The work item was not created because with the specified combination ofinitial status and requested start
either the work item would never start
or an incorrect background job would be scheduled for deadlinemonitoring.

Procedure
Make sure the following conditions are fulfilled:

• If you enter ready as the initial status for the work item, you
cannot enter a requested start.
If you enter a requested start, the initial status must be waiting
.

• If you enter waiting as the initial status, a requested start
must also be entered. This must be in the future. You are not allowedto enter a requested start that is in the past.
