SAP Message WFCS089 - Posting error (table: &1; plant: &2)

Diagnosis
An error occurred during the posting transaction when accessing thedatabase table. This could be due to other processes accessing theentries in the table (particularly access to the material master datain material requirements planning).
Data is generally saved in the following tables by the forecast run:

  • PROP: Master data for the forecast. You can use the forecast monitor
    • (transaction WFCS03) to display theforecast master data.
    • MARC: If the relevant indicators are set in Customizing for the MRP
      • type, the forecast automatically calculates the reorder stock and thesafety stock and saves them in the MARC table.
      • WFCS_WRFT: The movement data table with historical data (POS sales) and
        • forecast data. You can use the forecast monitor (transaction WFCS03) todisplay the forecasted movement data.

        System Response
        The system discards the whole posting package.

        Procedure
        Repeat the forecast run. Use the forecast monitor (transaction WFCS03)for analyzing problems if necessary. If problems continue to occurduring the forecast run, contact your system administrator.
