SAP Message VL294 - Batch split not possible in item &, since POD quantity exists already

Diagnosis You cannot perform a batch split for this item because POD-quantitiesand -reasons were already entered for this delivery item. System Response The system does not allow batch splits for this item. Procedure Delete the POD data for this delivery item and create reasons andquantities for the POD differences in the corresponding batch splititem (sub-item).
