The conversion factor in float data format lets you express a ratiothat requires a higher degree of accuracy than that achieved withquotients made up of 5-digit numerators and denominators (ratios lessthan 0.00001, for example).
Conversion factor &v1& can only be entered if it expresses thequantitative ratio more accurately than the ratio &v2&:&v3& andtherefore may only deviate from this ratio by less than its accuracy(0.00001).
Larger deviations must result in another ratio &v2&:&v3&.
