Diagnosis
The returnable packaging account to be archived has a precedingaccount. This account is not set for archiving. The account to bearchived overwrites the validity of the preceding account. If theaccount is archived, it will no longer overwrite the preceding account,and the preceding account will be valid again.

System Response
The system does not archive accounts that have preceding accounts inthe system. The account is not archived. The system proceeds withchecking the next account.

Procedure
Set the preceding account so that it fulfils the prerequisites forarchiving. A returnable packaging account can be archived if it has thestatus "marked for deletion". You set this status manually inReturnable Packaging Logistics (transaction RL02).
