SAP Message VBOB_MM_OB040 - Original batches are not allowed for material &2 in plant &1

Diagnosis
No original batches are permitted for material &V2& in plant &V1&.However, you have entered an original batch reference material for anoriginal batch.

System Response
The system generates an error message.

Procedure

  • You can change the relevant entry in the "OB Management" field to allow
    • creation of original batches, or
    • You can remove the entry from the "OB Reference Materl" field.
