Diagnosis
In a PM/CS order, you use external operations with theSubcontracting indicator. For one or more components, you haveset the material provision indicator (MPI) to Rework Material toSubcontrator or Rework Material from Subcontractor. Duringmaintenance of the PM/CS order, if you clear the Subcontractingindicator, you cannot use the MPI. The MPI must be blank.

System Response
You cannot save the PM/CS order.

Procedure
Use the Subcontracting indicator to mark the external operationof the PM/CS order as a subcontracting operation.
For all components in the order, ensure that the MPI is not set.
Remove the Subcontracting indicator.
