Diagnosis
The period indicator <(>&<)>V1<(>&<)> for total shelf life andremaining shelf life is set for the material you are currentlyprocessing. This period indicator is deactivated in Customizing,however, and therefore cannot be used.

Procedure
Activate the period indicator <(>&<)>V1<(>&<)> in Customizing.
