SAP Message 00509 - No log exists for job &. Check the system log

Diagnosis
No job log could be found for the selected background job. If thebackground job has the status 'terminated', this message indicatesproblems starting the background job.

System Response
The problems which occur when starting a background job (for example,the log cannot be created because of a capacity bottleneck), arerecorded in the system log.

Procedure
For more precise analysis of the absence of a job log, check the systemlog of the application server, which ran the background job. Messagesfrom background work processes are of particular interest here. Thesemessages indicate when a job started and any problems that occurredduring the start.
