Procedure
Establish whether master data (branches and cash desks) was alreadycreated in the system. You cannot use the cash journal without masterdata for the cash journal.
If the role concept for the cash journal is active, then assign yourselfwithin the cash journal depending on your role, as clerk assignyourself to at least one cash desk within a branch, or as clerk withspecial tasks or branch manager to at least one branch.
If you do not want to use the role concept in the cash journal, you candeactivate the role concept in Customizing. Thus the assignment of theuser to a role in the cash journal does not apply and by definitionevery user in the system is a branch manager for all branches which weredefined in the master data for the cash journal.
