System Response
The system checks whether it can determine an item category which isspecific for the direct outbound delivery process. If no suitable itemcategory can be found in the correspondingcustomizing settings, the system uses thestandard item category determination.

Procedure
Check whether the delivery is created with a suitable item category.Contact your system administrator in case of errors.

Procedure for System Administration
The system uses the following parameters to determine an item categoryfrom the item category determination fordirect outbound deliveries.

• EWM delivery type &V1&


• EWM item type &V2&


• Initiator process &V3&


• Warehouse number &V4&

Check the entries in this IMG activity if the delivery does not containthe correct item category.
Note that you can use an asterisk (*) to define entries that are validfor all possible values of the corresponding field.
