SAP Message /SAPPCE/DPCM1603 - You have assigned more than one WBS element

Diagnosis
You have entered more than one WBS element in the down payment chaincontract data under account assignment data.

System Response
In Customizing the system checks if account assignment is allowed tomore than one WBS element and displays an information, warning or errormessage.

Procedure

  • If the message is information or a warning you can assign several WBS
    • elements.
    The system does the following if several WBS elements are assigned asaccount assignment objects:
    If the Joint Venture Accounting (CA-JVA) component is not set,the system correspondingly assigns the defined percentages to the WBSelements.
    If the Joint Venture Accounting (CA-JVA) component is set toactive in the company code, the system assigns data to the dummyventure.
    • If the message is an error message, you can only assign one WBS
      • element.
      The system assigns to the WBS element specified as the accountassignment object irrespective of whether the Joint VentureAccounting (CA-JVA) component is set to active.
