Diagnosis

The characteristic has not been assigned to the characteristicscategory for the configurable material, in other words, thecharacteristic &V1& does not exist for this material.
The manual valuation was not permitted in the master data forthis characteristic.
Background
On the tab page Additional Data, the indicator not ready forinput is set in the master data for this characteristic.
The characteristic is valuated automatically using the dependencies,and therefore a manual valuation is not permitted.

System Response
The system does not allow you to enter values for this characteristic.

Procedure
If necessary, delete the value you entered.
If you wish to valuate the characteristic manually, you will have tochange the master data for the characteristic or the material, orchange the corresponding dependency.
