System Response
Since you keep the current active version, the system does not overwriteit with the content version, which may cause data inconsistencies. Ifyou delete the current active version, the system discards any changesto the content version. The second option ensures that there are noinconsistencies to the SAP delivered content.

Procedure
Keep the active version only if it should be different from the contentversion. This affects the transactional InfoSources as well as textInfoSources for any attributes used in the corresponding InfoProvider.
You can activate the content version any time by repeating theactivation procedure.
