Diagnosis
You have defined characteristic value &V1& for the layout in the columnfor characteristic &V2&. Alternatively, you have entered characteristicvalue &V1& in the column for characteristic &V2&.
The planning hierarchy does not, however, contain this characteristicvalue.
The planning hierarchy represents the maximum frame in which you canoperate in a planning step.
All characteristics and characteristic combinations for which planningdata is to be entered in the system, must be defined in a planninghierarchy.

Procedure
Check the planning hierarchy for characteristic value &V1&, change theentry in the characteristic screen or change yourplanning layout in Customizing.
