Diagnosis
The product catalog contains a generic material to which no variantsare assigned. However, only generic materials which have variants, orindividual variants of a generic material, can be assigned to a productcatalog. Generic materials without variants are not allowed.

Procedure
Assign at least one variant of the generic material to the productcatalog or delete the generic material from the product catalog.
