Diagnosis
When you define the query, which accesses the data in the SAP BW, youhave to assign a variable with type "multiple selection" (SelectOptions) to the characteristics plant, material, material group, andmaterial hierarchy node.

Procedure
Select a suitable query or change the selected query accordingly in theSAP BW. If you change the query, you will also have to update theCustomizing for data retraction in SAP R/3.
