Diagnosis
You can only create, change, and delete follow-up/replacement materialrelationships for variants of the generic material that are alreadysaved in the database.

Procedure
If you want to create follow-up/replacement material relationships forvariants that you have just created, but not saved yet in the materialmaster, you have to save the variants in the material master first. Thenstart the maintenance transaction for the generic material again and goto processing for follow-up/replacement materials.
