Diagnosis
In the Secure Store and Forward with Versioned Key function, anexception occurred, causing the encryption of an object to fail. Theexception code stated in the error message gives a first indication ofthe reason for the error. The following exception codes are possible inthe case in hand:
'1' : Unknown SSF application
'2' : Key version not found
'3' : No SSF library available
'4' : SSF kernel error.

System Response
The system terminates the process.

Procedure
Depending on the particular exception code, the following initialmeasures can be taken to eliminate the error:
'1' : Check whether an existing SSF application for versioned keys hasbeen defined in the security profile of POSDM Customizing. If not,assign an existing SSF application.
'2': Check whether key versioning is active.
'3': Check that SAPCryptolib has been installed, see Note662340. If this is not the case, install it.
'4': Report the problem to SAP Support under the componentBC-SEC-SSF.
