Diagnosis
The global setting for payment card security (table TCCSEC, componentSecurity Level for Payment Card Numbers) that has been defined for theSAP system is not sufficient to execute the planned activity. Thesecurity level is independent from payment card details, such as thecredit card organization.
This error might have the following reasons:
1. No security profile has been assigned to the appropriate main profile(POSDM Customizing).
2. A security profile exists, but the Check Security Level fieldis initial (POSDM-Customizing).
3. There are no global settings for payment card security (table TCCSEC)(SAP-IMG).
4. The security level for payment card numbers is less than 2 (maskeddisplay and encrypted saving).

System Response
The system terminates the process.

Procedure
Edit the security level in the SAP Customizing Implementation Guideunder Cross-Application Components -> Payment Cards -> BasicSettings -> Make Security Settings for Payment Cards, or usetransaction SM30, View V_TCCSEC.
To be able to execute the planned activities, you must set the securitylevel to the value 2 = Masked Display and Encrypted Saving.
Alternatively, you can consciously deactivate the check for the securitylevel in POSDM Customizing under General Settings -> SecurityProfiles -> in the Check Security Level field.
