Diagnosis
When a contingent is deleted, the period of the adjacent contingentsmustalso be adjusted. If the contingent to be deleted is the last in theoperation, the end date of the previous contingent is set to the enddate of the contingent to be deleted. The end date of all operational/
exercise relationships of the previous contingent that end on thecurrent contingent end date is also set to the end date of thecontingent to be deleted. If the contingent to be deleted is not thelast contingent in the operation, the start date of the next contingentis adjusted in the same way.
Although the contingent was deleted successfully and the start and enddates of the adjacent contingent could be adjusted, an error occurredwhile extending the operational/exercise relationships of theadjacent contingent, which means that this could not be carried out.

System Response
Since no inconsistencies occur as a result of this problem,the deletion of the contingent is not reversed.

Procedure
Check the extent to which the problem affects (if at all) the requiredoperational structure/exercise target. Any necessary changes can alsobe made "manually."
