Functionality
This function module returns the hierarchy ID that is maintained for aspecific distribution chain.
If a distribution chain is specified, the function module looks in theWRF_MATGRP_HIER for a hierarchy ID flagged as application-relevant forthis distribution chain. If no entry is found, a search is made in theWRF_MATGRP_HIER for a cross-client-valid hierarchy ID flagged asapplication-relevant. If no distribution chain is specified, thefunction module looks directly in the WRF_MATGRP_HIER for across-client-valid hierarchy ID flagged as application-relevant.
