Functionality
Status 'normal' is set for a parked CEM shipping document by this BAPI/SAPCEM/BAPI_SHIPDOCCEM_RELEASE. However, a shipping documentcan only be released (unparked) if various checks run successfully.Some of these checks are:

• Authorization checks: Is the user authorized to release the shipping
document?

• Document Date: Is the document date within the period of the current
settlement?

• Status check: Does the document status allow unparking?


• PBE-document check: Do PBE-documents already exist for the equipment in
the shipping document?

• Availability: In chronological inventory management the equipment/parts
in the shipping document must be available after release.

Notes
If an error is found (parameter RETURN contains entries with TYPE E orA), and if this means you cannot cancel a shipping document, the userwho called the BAPI is responsible for unblocking all SAP locks. Thecaller is responsible for the Commit Work.
