Functionality
The function module simulates the location setup, and therefore showswhat the historical stock (J_3GHBEST) would be, if the location setupwere to be executed.

Example

Use
You can also use the function module to determine the stock in thecurrent period.
The function module is already used in the system for all types ofstock information (e.g. stock lists).

Notes
The function module reads the historical stock (J_3GHBEST) and thetemporary stock (J_3GTBEST) based on the selection criteria.
Both of these tables are then mixed in accordance with the removalsequence of the activity types. This means that the historical stock isconverted internally into a temporary stock to allow the stock to beshown in one format. The simulated historical stock is generated fromthis internal temporary stock.
If you do not select temporary stock (for example, because you do notuse chaotic inventory management), the function module reads andoutputs the historical stock.
