Description
Download
You can use this function to download your Customizing project data to
a PC to process the data in a project management program. The data is
available in MPX format, i.e., you can edit the data with PC programs
that can read this format. You can download the data for a specific
project. The generated data file is stored in the current work
directory.
Upload
After processing the project data on the PC, you can load them back
to the Customizing project. Structure changes in the PC program are
not taken into account by the upload process, i.e., this function can
upload only data concerning activities that exist in your Customizing
project.
The system tries to find the data file to be uploaded in the
current work directory.

Precondition
You can perform the upload/download on PCs that have MS-DOS, OS/2 or
Windows NT as their operating system. For compatibility reasons
we recommend that you start the PC program in the language in which
you have logged on to the SAP System.

Output
The download function generates a data file in MPX format with the
following data:
Function/Activity short text
Planned start, end, effort
Actual start, end, effort
Degree of completion, work, ressources
The upload function reloads the following data to the Customizing
project:
Planned start, end, effort
Actual start, end, effort
Degree of completion, work
