Description
This program is used for the function 'Copying of Conditions'. Thismeans that the listed data can be selected in order to create newcondition records.
The selection screen contains information on the conditions that are tobe copied. This information can be found under the 'Characteristics ofSource Conditions'. The condition table and condition type of thecondition record copied are always shown. In addition, a data field(e.g. material group) defined in Customizing for the copying ofconditions is displayed. The field defines the source condition(s) thatis/are to be copied. The 'Selection of Target' is the target field. Aspecific value can be selected or a complete list of values can beoffered. All new values for the new condition records are copied fromthis list. If 'Display List' is not selected, the system takes allvalues found from the program selections.
With the 'Characteristics of New Conditions' you can define data withineach condition record. For example, you can change the condition typeif necessary. With PF4 on condition type 'Target', you get a pop-upwith the allowed condition types. You can define the validity startand/or the validity end date, or neither. This is then adopted for allnew condition records.
A condition sort term is also available. This field can be used as asearch term at header level. This means that all condition records thatare newly created will contain this term. An advantage is that as of2.2 a secondary index referencing this field can be created. Thisenables all condition records that are created to be found againeasily.
