Purpose

The extract splitter identifies all segments contained in a data extractsource file and for each of them creates a separate file on theapplication server. You can display the new files calling thetransaction 'display extract splitter log' in the DART menu.

The program creates a list of all segments of the selected data extractsource file. You can either select entries or request the processing ofthe complete list. For each of the selected segments the extractsplitter creates a separate file. The file names are createdautomatically using a prefix which you enter on the selection screen.
