Purpose
This program migrates TTE (Transaction Tax Engine) configuration fromreleases CRM/SRM 3.0, 3.1, and 3.5 to release 4.0 and later.

This program can be restarted any number of times.

Features
This program migrates the following data:

• Countries and country - community assignments

In release 4.0 "Community" is not a key field anymore, but only atime-dependent attribute of a country.

• Exemption reasons, Tax authority, Product usage, Fiscal code

These entities do not depend on "Region" anymore.

• Tax events, product tax groups, partner tax groups

These entities do not depend on community anymore.

• Tax type determination

Tax type determination does not depend on community anymore.

• Tax calculation procedure assignment

Tax calculation procedure assignment does not depend on communityanymore and is now time-dependent.

• Assign objects from external systems

Mapping is now client-dependent.

• Calculation procedures

Condition type 2001 is obsolete because condition tables for rateexemptions are now integrated in the tax rate condition type 1001.Calculation procedures are migrated by removing the step with conditiontype 2001.

• Assign exemption condition type

Assignment of condition type 2001 is replaced by assignment of 1001.

• Exemption records

Exemption records for condition type 2001 are replaced with records forcondition type 1001.

• Tax event determination

Tax events are now determined via a decision tree. However, a globalswitch is set to enable the tax event determination as available inreleases prior to CRM 4.0. This switch is also available in the IMG andcan be set manually.

• New customizing tables

Delivered data is copied from client 000 into all other clients. Alldelivered decision for tax event determination trees are copied fromclient 000 into all other clients.
