Purpose
This report installs the content of the BI Administration Cockpit in theBI system for all the source systems entered in the Source SystemAssignment field. Select the appropriate fields of the selection screenaccording to your requirements.

Prerequisites

• You have installed at least BI Content 7.0.3 SP7 in the BI system in
which you want to set up the BI Administration Cockpit.

• The RFC connection between the source system and the BI system should
already be established if the source system is not a Myself system.

• The ALEREMOTE user for the source system connection should have
authorizations of role SAP_RO_BCTRA, which includes authorization objectS_RO_BCTRA for remote activation of DataSources.

• The user who activates the technical content should have all permissions
of authorization template S_RS_RDEMO. For more information about thisauthorization template, see SAP note 161292.

Selections
You can select the following steps for execution:


• Source System Assignment

The Admin Cockpit content is installed for the source systems entered inthis field. By default, content is installed for the Myself system. Thisinput field is similar to the 'Source System Assignment' (Shift + F7)option in BI Content (Transaction: RSORBCT).

• Activate Source System

This step checks whether the source systems have already been upgradedto the current release. If not, it activates the source system. This isnecessary if the release number of source system was not updated whenyou upgraded from an earlier release.
Force Source System Activation (no default setting)
This step forces activation of the source system.

• Replicate DataSources

This step replicates the DataSources for the source systems entered inthe 'Source System' field. If the DataSources are already replicated,you can deselect this option to improve the performance.

• Repair Missing InfoPackages

This step checks whether the technical Content InfoPackages are completeand corrects them, where necessary. This ensures that technical Contentprocess chains function correctly and that any errors in predecessoractivation activities can be fixed.

• Activate Technical Content

This step activates all the technical content objects that are assignedto role SAP_BW_BI_ADMINISTRATOR.
Only Simulation (no default setting)
This step simulates activations without actually performing theactivation. This enables you to check the result before activating.

• Create transport request for installed objects (no default
setting)
This step creates a transport request and assigns the installed objectsto this request. Installation of Admin Cockpit objects need not beperformed in target systems if this option is selected. Objects are nottransported if the report is run in batch mode.

• Schedule Init Process Chains

This step automatically schedules the Init Process Chains0TCT_C0_INIT_P01 and 0TCT_C2_INIT_P01 if you are installing the Initprocess chain.

• Schedule master data process chains at time

This step schedules the master data Process Chains 0TCT_MD_C_FULL_P01and 0TCT_MD_S_FULL_P01 every week at the time specified in this field.

• Schedule Query Run Time Statistics Delta Process Chain at time

This step schedules the transaction data Process Chain 0TCT_C0_DELTA_P01every day at the time specified in this field.

• Schedule Data Load Statistics Delta Process Chain at time

This step schedules the transaction data Process Chain 0TCT_C2_DELTA_P01every day at the time specified in this field.
