Purpose
A reference object can be defined for an InfoObject.
The structure and properties of the InfoObject derive from theproperties of the reference object. Upon generating a BI model based onan ESI model the reference object of the InfoObject is used to obtainthe highest possible object reuse.
Two types of reference objects are currently supported:

• Business object node field


• Global data type (for example currencies, country codes, and so on)
