Programme SAP RSCP0017 - Maintain Table TCP0C

Description
'RSCP0017' maintains and checks table TPOC. This table is used forsetting the locale (character set, language, country, and so on).
'RSCP0017' has several functions:

  • Transport from a file to TCP0C (import)

  • Transport from TCP0C to a file (export)

  • Output from TCP0C in a list

  • Correct invalid entries (not filter-dependent)

  • Character sets (CHARCO field from TCPOC)must be contained in TCP00,otherwise the entries can be deleted. Character sets and character setsfor MNLS systems (CHARCOMNLS field from TCP0C) must be identical, otherwise the entries can be copied for correction.
    • Platform consistency check

    • (If an entry exists for one platform, the entry should exist for allother platforms as well.)
This checks whether entries are missing in TCP0C for the specifiedplatform(s) and language(s); missing entries are output, but thecontents of TCP0C are not changed.
      • Character set consistency check

      • (the character sets used for the same key fields should be identical)
Inconsistent character set groups are output.
For transports to table TCP0C, you can set:
        • Compare only and make no changes

        • Insert missing records but do not change existing ones

        • Insert missing records and change records that are unequal

        • Caution
Table TCP0C is one of the important kernel setting tables. Incorrectvalues can cause the entire R/3 System to stop functioning. If thisshould ever happen, try starting the system in emergency operation withthe following profile settings:
          • abap/set_text_env_at_new_mode = 0

          • install/collate/active = 0
          • Precondition
Note: In previous releases, this program also edited table TCP0B.However, table TCP0B no longer exists.
