Maintenance of Storage Data for Physical Samples

Purpose
You can use this program to maintain storage data (standard data anduser-defined data) for physical samples.
You select the physical samples on the initial screen and enter the newstorage data.
If you do not set the switch "No list display", a list of physicalsamples, whose storage data should be changed, appears after you usethe "Execute" function key. The list only contains physical sampleswhich can be changed. For example, if a selected physical sample isalready being processed in another transaction and is thereforeblocked, it does not appear in the list and the storage data for thissample is not changed.
The status of the sample is also only changed if the current status ofthe physical sample allows this. However, the physical sample appearsin the list in this case, because the rest of the storage data can bechanged dependent of the status.
You can only make these changes in the list using the "Save"pushbutton.
If you set the switch "No list display", the storage data for theselected physical samples is changed and the changes are madeimmediately when you use the function key "Execute".

Note
You cannot predefine the storage data on the initial screen with a uservariant for technical reasons.
Moreover, the storage data is updated when you return to the initialscreen for the maintenance transaction from the list for the samereason.

Output
The program creates a configurable list of physical samples .
In the list, you can use the following functions:

  • Display a physical sample

  • Save changes

    • The colors in the monitor column of the list have the followingmeaning:
    • Green

      • The storage data has changed. All changes can be made to the physicalsample.
      • Yellow

        • The storage data for the physical sample has not changed.
        • Red

          • The physical sample cannot be changed.
          Causes:
          The physical sample cannot be blocked.
          The physical sample is blocked and is being changed.
          The physical sample location does not correspond to the storagelocation of the physical sample.
          The physical sample cannot be completely changed.
          Cause:
          The required status change for the physical sample is not allowed,however all other data can be changed.
