Archiving quality notifications: Preparation program

Purpose
The preparation program for archiving qualitynotifications flags the selected notifications as for archiving andfor deletion. This means that individual notifications are prepared forarchiving, and are also blocked against other changes in thetransaction.

Prerequisites
The following prerequisites must be fulfilled:

• The notification must be flagged with status deletion flag
(function in transaction Change Notification).

• You can use program RQARCQM3 to flag completed notifications, the
completion date of which was X days ago, for archiving.
To check whether all prerequisites for archiving are fulfilled , you canrun the preparation program in test mode.

Activities
Use the report variant to start the program as a background job.Evaluate the job log, looking for exception messages and the number ofselected and processed notifications.

To call up the archiving transaction, choose Tools ->Administration -> Administration -> Archiving.
