Description
To simplify display and maintenance of HR masterdata, the layout of the following initial screens in PersonnelAdministration was changed in release 4.0A.

• Display HR Master Data (PA20)


• Maintain HR Master Data (PA30)

The selection list for infotypes now appears in a table control with avertical scroll bar.
The sequence of entries in the infotype menus differs from that inrelease 3.0. In release 3.0, the display had two columns; in release4.0A, it has one.
You can use the New Sort for PA20 and PA30 Menus program(RPUT588B) to restore the sequence of entries as in release 3.0.
The default sequence is "Old sort -> New sort. The second option, "Undonew sort" allows you to undo a resort.
Use the Choose menu parameters to select the menus and usergroups to be resorted. This applies, in particular, to menus whichalready have a layout you want to keep.
The Test run option allows you to display the resorted itemswithout actually resorting them.

Precondition
The previous release is 3.x; if you have an older release (2.2), you donot need to make any changes.

Output
When you execute a test run, the old and new menu layouts aredisplayed.
In a production run, the number of changed menu entries are output.This includes all entries for all user groups and menus.
