Description
Report RPUREOPN is used to reorganize infotype records. You canexplicitly enter the infotypes you no longer want to store on thedatabase. If you want to process certain infotype/subtype combinationsseparately, remove these using a selection statement.
Important: No infotype authorization checks are performed when yourun this report.
An infotype record is reorganized
if it is not newer than the date specified (the end date of thevalidity period may not be after the specified date)
and
if it or its subtype does not have time constraint '1' or 'A'.
If an infotype is recognized as 'to be reorganized' the related textmodule is, depending on the processing type, either deleted or flaggedin database PCL1, cluster TX. Infotype entries in the databases ASSHR,PDSNR, ASSOB and AFRU are also deleted.
Certain infotypes have an entry for the object class RELA in tableT52B5. This entry means that the infotype is linked to otherinfotypes or clusters. When such an infotype is selected, usually atime management infotype 2001, 2002, 2006 and 2007, the linkedinfotypes are also reorganized. If an infotype is linked to a clustervia T52B5, the cluster is not reorganized by this reportprogram. If PC, personal calendar, is the cluster in question, theserecords can be reorganized with report programRPUREOPC.
The Time Events infotype (2011) cannot be deleted with this program.Refer to the program RPUREOB2 or archiving of timedata.
Report program RPUREOPN has three different processing modes:
- Test:
No changes are made to the database. The reorganization run is onlysimulated and provides information on the number of records to bereorganized.
