Description
With the report, you can activate features and create the where-usedlist again (create predecessor).

• Activating features:

You can perform the following types of activation with entries in theActivation type field:
Activate in any event:
Above all, you choose this type if you are changing release level. Inaddition, you enter the value 1 so that both the where-used list(predecessor) and a new activation of all features is performed. You maynot make any entries in the Feature(s) field. If you enter thevalue 2 in the field Type of activation and all featuresspecified in the Feature(s) field are activated anew.
Activation, only if the feature has not been changed:
You can use this option any time, for example, if you have changed thestructure or valid field name for several features. For this, you mustspecify the value 3 in the field Type of activation.
The activation always comes from the main features. If there are alsosubfeatures in the list of features to be activated, the correspondingmain features are determined and used for the activation.
A list of all the main features affected is displayed with a statusmessage and the statistics for the activation are output.

• What occurs with an activation?

When features are activated, reports are generated with the name/1PAPA/FEATcccfffff, whereby ccc indicates the clients andfffff the feature names. If a report already exists, the oldreport is overwritten.

• Recreation of predecessors:

With one feature, you can call subfeatures. If the feature is saved, thefeature is automatically entered as a predecessor for the subfeature.The predecessor can only be created (creating a where-used list)together with a complete activation. You start a complete activation byentering the value 1 (see above) in the field Type ofactivation. The predecessor must be created after each releaseupgrade.

Dependencies
All features selected are used for the activation. Thereby, the versionof the last upgrade is used.
When recreating predecessors, you may not restrict the area of features,in other words, you may not specify a feature.
