Programme SAP RPUCREE0 - Cluster RE (PCL2) conversion, Spain version; XPRA

Description
This report is used to convert the RE cluster in DB PCL2 for the Spanish
payroll version. We recommend that you generate a backup copy of
file PCL2 before performing the conversion. The report includes a
'Test process' parameter: if you select it, no changes will be
made to the data base. If you run the report with the default value
set, changes will be made to the data base. WARNING: this parameter
is not active in the XPRA version of the report.
If any changes have been made when the payroll results were stored, you
must perform a conversion. These storage changes ocurr when new payroll
tables, new fields in existing tables, or changes to field formats
are required.
All storage changes imply a change of version number, which will be
stored with each record. The payroll and evaluation reports will only
work with records that have the current version number. Given that
in many cases it is also necessary to use data from the past, these
previous records must be adjusted to the format of the current version.
You can do this using this report.
This report is used partly to change previous data following an upgrade.
Initialization ocurrs automatically because the report is marked as
XPRA (EXECUTE PROGRAM AFTER) in the command file that performs the
upgrade.
Because there is also the option to omit puts (to omit releases,
such as passing straight from 2.0 to 3.0, omitting release 2.1),
the report is structured in such a way as to allow internal conversion
from one version to the next, as many times as necessary until the
current version is reached.
In the case of an error, you can restart the report without anyproblems.

Output
This report generates statistics for the conversion. They should be
interpreted as follows:
A personnel number may have several payroll results (logical records). Each payroll result may require various physical records for storage.
Conversion data is formatted in the statistics by a client.
The number of records to be converted is the sum of the Converted
Records and Records with Error on Conversion positions.
The number of non-conversion records is not included in the number
of records to be converted, because there are several criteria that can
prevent a record from being extracted for conversion. The reasons
can include the fact that a record already exists in the current
version because it had a version number that was not supported, or that
the record could not be imported, producing an inconsistency in the
file. For each record that flows to the Failed Conversion or
Records Not Converted positions, a specific message reporting the
reason will be formatted.
Adding the number of records to be converted and the records not
converted accross all clients will give you the number of all logical
records.
The statistics are either formatted on the screen or, if the report is
run in XPRA mode, it is displayed through the log interface, so that
the conversion results can be checked in the transport log.
