Purpose
You can use this program to process clock-in/out corrections that, fortechnical reasons, the system was unable to save in theTime Events infotype (2011). This may be caused for one of thefollowing reasons:

• The time event was already created by someone else.


• The changed time event was aleady deleted by someone else.

This program is intended for error handling of clock-in/out correctionsof a relatively small number of employees. You can therefore restrictthe number of data records to be evaluated according to organizationalcriteria. If you want to evaluate more than 50 employees, you can usetheRPTCORERR_ALL report, which you can access bychoosing the Evaluation Over All Data Records button on thereport selection screen.

Activities
The program lists the data records with errors so that you can processthem. To process them, proceed as follows:


• Check the error situation in the application you use to administrate
time data. Process the clock-in/out entry as specified in thecorresponding clock-in/out correction and save.
If no error message appears, the system was now able to process thetime event without problems.
If an error message appears, correct the error if possible.

• Return to this program. Assign a status for each clock-in/out
correction according to whether you were able to resolve the error.
If you were able to save the time event in the system, select therelevant entry and choose Approve. The data record is nowassigned the status Posted in the document database.
If you were unable to save the time event in the system, select therelevant entry and choose Reject. The data record is nowassigned the status Rejected in the document database.
The employee is automatically notified that the clock-in/out correctioncould not be processed.
