Description
Using this program considerably facilitates maintenance of the viewsDefine Per Diems for Meals/Time(V_T706H) andDefine Maximum Amounts for Meals/Time(V_706H_B).

Use
Full-day per diems for meals must be maintained for the validity periodand relevant country/countries according to legal and company-internalrules, with the 'Number of days = 099' and the full-day interval '00:00- 24:00' in views V_706H_C and V_706H_D.

According to the calculation guidelines (see view V_T702H or V_702H_B)for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the corresponding breakfast, lunch anddinner per diems are determined from the full-day amount and thenassigned to time of day intervals.
We differentiate between 1-day, 96-day, 97-day and 98-day entries. Youmake the settings for these entries in Customizing viewTravel expenses control (Expert view)(V_T702N_A) in Field 18 'Valuation of Trip Duration(domestic trips)'. This Customizing view allows you to edit thematrix that you previously created in characteristic TRVCT.
Depending on the settings in Field 18 on the mealssettlement line, the entries have the following meanings:

  • Value 1:

  • The 1-day entries contain the per diems for meals that are used in theevaluation of 1-day trips and the first and last trip day of several-day trips.
The 98-day table entries determine the point in time when therespective per diems are paid, in the case of full trip days withstopover changes.
    • Value 3 or 4:

    • The 1-day entries contain the meals per diems that are used in theevaluation of 1-day trips.
The 96-day entries contain the meals per diems that are used toevaluate the first day of a several-day trip.
The 97-day entries contain the meals per diems valid for evaluating thelast day of a several-day trip.
The 98-day table entries determine the point in time when therespective per diems are paid for full trip days with stopover changes.
For further information, see the F1 documentation for fieldValuation of Trip Duration (Domestic Trips).
To be able to assign the per diems uniquely to possible existingstopovers, please use a one-minute interval, for example 12:30 - 12:31,to designate the time.
The test run of this program (Test run = 'X') produces a log withoutchanging the table. The records that were entered manually appeardarker than the records that were produced by the report.
The report should not be started using the test run = ' ' until theresults of this log have been thoroughly checked.
      Warning:
This program deletes all of the entries that already exist in theCustomizing views named above.

      Note
Do not forget to transport the entries that have been scaled into yourproductive system.
