Absence Pattern Analysis Report (RPLABSG0_PATTERN)

Purpose
You run Report RPLABSG0_PATTERN to generate data highlighting anypatterns that may exist within the absence data for your selectedemployees.
Using this report, you can check whether there is any correlationbetween employees' absences and the following:

  • Specific dates/events in the calendar year

  • Employee and family members birthdays

  • Absences starting or ending adjacent to non-working days

  • Repeat absences on the same date(s) in the month

  • Repeat absences with the same characteristics

    Features

    Selection
    Maintain your required selection criteria for report RPLABSG0_PATTERN asdescribed under Activities.

    Output
    You can choose to output this report in either an ABAP List Viewer (ALV)or Temporary Sequential (TemSe) format.
    Note:
    If you would like to run this program for a large number of employeesand check the results, it could exceed your online run time. In thiscase, you may wish to run the program in batch mode and generate a TemSefile.

    Activities
    Choose your selection criteria in the Period and Selectiongroup boxes.
    Maintain the specified absence type in the field Att./Absencetype.
    Note:
    The values for the Absence reason field correspond to dataentered on infotype Absences (2001), in the field Illnesscode (P2001-UMSKD).
    In the Input options group box, you can opt to run this reportfor selected TemSe files previously created. You must specify therelevant file in the field TemSe object and set the TemSeinput indicator.
    Choose your output option for RPLABSG0_PATTERN.
    Select the ALV Output radio button to output your report data inABAP List Viewer format.
    You use the Layout (display variant) field to choose yourpreferred display format for the ALV output list. (For example, theorder of columns in the list and predefined sort criteria or filterconditions, and so on.)
    Note: You must have previously saved your own display variants toselect them using the Layout field.
    Select the TemSe Output radio button to output your report dataas Temporary Sequential (TemSe) files.
    The field Object identifier contains the name of the TemSe filepreviously created by this report.
    In the Checks to be performed group box, select the specificabsence pattern checks you require.
    Absence spells are based on contiguous infotype Absences (2001)records. This means they are based on absence spells, not separateabsence records.
    You can choose any combination of the following absence patterns checks:
    Event-based checks:
    Select up to five specific dates to check absence data for specificdates/events
    Birthday-based check:
    Check for absences coinciding with employee and family members birthdays
    , as stored in infotype Family Member/Dependents (0021)
    Non-working days check:
    Display short absences (maximum two days duration) starting or endingadjacent to non-working days
    Regular absence check:
    Check for repeat single absences on the same calendar date(s) in themonth
    Identical absence check:
    Check for repeat absences with the same characteristics:
    > Length of absence
    > Absence type
    > Reason for absence
    Execute Report RPLABSG0_PATTERN.

    Result
    According to your selected absence pattern criteria, you have generateddata highlighting any patterns that may exist within the absence datafor your selected employees.
