Purpose
The integration with Organizational Management is not active when anaction is performed by batch input. This has the following effect whenyou perform an applicant action in batch input: when you create vacancyassignment records (IT4002), the corresponding relationships inOrganizational Management (A/B048) between applicant and currentposition are not created.
The RPAP_UPDATE_RELAT048 report creates the associated A/B048relationships for the vacancy assignments of the selected applicantprovided the position that is based on the vacancy assignment has beenmaintained in Organizational Management.
The report reads the IT4002 records of an applicant and checks for eachvacancy assignment whether the position used as a basis has beenmaintained in Organizational Management. The A/B048 relationships arecreated in this case only.
Using report RPAP_UPDATE_RELAT048 , all existing A/B048relationships of an applicant are first deleted and in a following step- depending on existence of IT4002 records - created again. Therefore,the report should only be used for the case described above (missingA/B048 relationships for applicants for whom vacancy assignments werecreated as part of an action performed by batch input.
We recommend that you first start the report in test mode.
