Description
This report enables you to modify the company codes recorded ininfotype 0001, Organizational Assignment, according to thepersonnel area assignments carried out during customizing.
During customizing, each personnel area is assigned one valid companycode. An applicant's company code and personnel area are recorded ininfotype 0001, Organizational Assignment. In some cases (e.g.when customizing changes are made), the company code specified ininfotype 0001 may not correspond to the one assigned to the personnelarea during customizing.
This report enables you to adjust or modify the company codes ininfotype 0001 in accordance with the assignments made duringcustomizing.
The report first reads all records for infotype 0001 which correspondto the selection criteria you specify. It then checks the value in thePersonnel area field and from this determines the appropriatecompany code.

Output
The report produces a list of all records for which the company codedoes not correspond to the assignment made in the customizing step"Personnel area - Assign company code". The firstline for an applicant contains his/her number and name. Beneath thisline the following information is displayed:

• Start and end dates of the inconsistent records


• Personnel area and company code from infotype 0001, Organizational
Assignment

• Company code assigned to personnel area during customizing

You can run this report in two modes:

• If you run the report in the test mode, the inconsistent records are
simply displayed in a list and no changes are made.

• If you do not run the report in the test mode, incorrect company code
entries are changed directly on the database.
